Hace unos días hablaba con un amigo sobre el ciclo vital de un blog, y mi teoría es que está compuesto por los siguientes puntos:
1 – Nace.
2 – Crece.
3 – Su autor se toma unas vacaciones de Blog.
4 – El autor vuelve con energías renovadas que le duran 2 semanas.
5 – Se buscan colaboradores (opcional).
6 – Los colaboradores desaparecen (solo si se cumple el punto 5).
7 – El autor explica que su vida está cambiando y se lo tomará con más calma.
8 – El blog muere.
Soy lector fiel de varios blogs que actualmente se encuentran en la penúltima de estas fases. No voy a decir quienes són para no herir sensibilidades ni egos (que de eso tenemos mucho los blogueroides), y porque aún tengo alguna esperanza de equivocarme… pero este ciclo ya lo he visto cerrarse en varias ocasiones, y si no que se lo pregunten a Javi Moya.
¿Estáis de acuerdo? ¿Conocéis casos en los que se aplique?
Estoy de acuerdo en la mayoria de los pasos. Eso le pasa a muchiiiiismos blogers, sobre todo a los que tienen prisa por tener “exito”… y al ver que no tienen las visitas de una gran web o gran blog se desaniman y desisten maltratando al propio blog (y por cercania, a sus lectores).
Mi caso no es ese, ya que llevo a dia de hoy dos blogs (mas de dos años en uno y recien cumpli el primer año en el otro) actualizandolos casi casi a diario.
Y lo que me queda, ya que tengo energias de sobra para con ellos.
Sin ir más lejos, yo me encuentro ahora mismo en el punto 5. Los colaboradores llevan el peso del blog mientras mi vida está cambiando.
Supongo que todo blog tienen fecha de caducidad…

De todas maneras, adaptándolo un poco, vale para muchos proyectos personales que tenemos cada uno…

Manu, es cierto que es aplicable a muchos proyectos. Yo sin ir más lejos he cumplido este ciclo un par de veces en proyectos de Internet (tuve un blog antes de este…).
Creer que un blog personal será para siempre es un error, creo yo: la vida se nos va complicando, nuestras prioridades e interesas varian y tener una página web acaba pasando a un segundo plano. Si no es así, mala señal!
Yo lo he visto en un blog de ciencia hace muy poco tiempo (bueno, ya hace un año). El pobre hombre tuvo gemelos, pero no buscó colaboradores y la última entrada tiene mas de 100 comentarios pidiéndole que vuelva. Pobrecico, no creo que lo haga…
En mi caso, el blog estaba como medio muerto durante su época de nacimiento y ahora ha tenido una explosión de contenidos. Me he aplicado un poco

Tener un blog propio tiene su encanto, pero se vive mejor y más tranquilo colaborando en uno, te quitas el gusanillo de postear y no te ves en la “obligación” de mantenerlo vivo.
